OLOVES share the love at Sussex Pregnancy and Baby Fair Brighton!

OLOVES simply couldn’t wait to share the o’love with visitors, mums-to-be and babies at this years’ Sussex Pregnancy and Baby Fair.
Held on Sunday 31st May 2015, the event offered an enormous array of helpful, need to know advice, tips and information on all things pregnancy!
OLOVES was at the fair throughout the whole day, with all four flavours of our scrummy olives! So here are our snacking whilst pregnant tips:
Here at OLOVES we understand that snacking whilst pregnant can have its tough moments, but that well known ‘I’m eating for two’ excuse can’t make up for filling up on those sugar laden, saturated stuffed naughties. Keeping food both tasty and healthy is key to finding that happy balance of nutrients that you and your baby need.
The easiest change to make is that all important 5 a day rule. With the huge variety of local and organic produce you really do have the pick of the crop when it comes to your fresh fruit and veg basics. Cut carrots, celery or red pepper into snack sized batons, include them as part of your evening meal, or even juice into a healthy vegetable and vitamin packed smoothie. There are so many ways of making the basics not so basic! Just don’t forget the wash all produce thoroughly before enjoying!
OLOVES olives are, we think, a fab example of yummy, juicy, goodness stuffed snack alternatives. The convenient pouches are the perfect size to carry out and about, and munch on when hunger strikes, which we know can be any time anywhere with a baby on the way!
